Public information
Public catalog details, asset numbers, selected photos, custody status, and onchain ownership and transaction records can be visible to others. Wallet activity on a public blockchain is not private.
Private operational information
Shipping addresses, deposit codes, tracking numbers, full serials, IMEIs, and private verification notes are stored offchain. They are not intended for publication in the public asset feed or contract transaction arguments.
Why information is used
The documented workflows use wallet and sign-in information to authenticate requests, item and deposit information to match shipments and perform verification, and shipping information to support fulfillment. Public ownership and transaction records support asset activity and portfolio views.
Cookies and browser storage
The app uses a session cookie for authenticated requests and browser local storage to remember the selected wallet provider. The final notice must also account for hosting logs, anti-bot services, and any analytics or other trackers enabled in the deployed service. This draft does not claim that no third party collects technical information.
Verification records
An onchain verification hash records evidence integrity. It does not publish the private verification documents themselves. Public and private evidence are handled separately.
Service providers and external destinations
Operating ItemBase involves infrastructure for hosting, data storage, blockchain access, and shipment fulfillment. The final policy must identify the relevant provider categories, what information is disclosed to them, and why. Following an external community link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices.
Retention and your requests
Retention periods and the privacy-request contact are awaiting confirmation. The final notice must explain how to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable, how identity is verified, and what records must be retained. Public blockchain records cannot generally be erased by ItemBase. No retention deadline or response-time promise is established by this draft.

The responsible business and privacy contact, service providers, data retention periods, cookies and analytics disclosures, international transfers, and applicable privacy rights still need confirmation. This draft does not promise deletion of public blockchain records.
