Terms of use

A review draft summarizing how ItemBase works. Final service terms have not been published here.

Review draft · Not a final policy

01

Service overview

ItemBase supports community purchases and tokenization of physical items. Every tokenization creates 1,000,000 shares. Community-buy shares may trade while awaiting custody; physical redemption requires verified custody.

02

Your wallet and instructions

Proposed terms: you are responsible for securing your wallet, checking the connected account and network, and reviewing any signature or transaction request. Do not share seed phrases or private keys. ItemBase cannot sign transactions on your behalf or reverse a confirmed blockchain transfer.

03

Accurate submissions and acceptable use

Proposed terms: provide accurate descriptions and only submit items you own or are authorized to submit. Do not submit prohibited goods, impersonate another person, manipulate listings, or interfere with the service. ItemBase may review or reject submissions; this does not give an administrator power to seize onchain shares.

04

Review each action

Read the displayed campaign conditions, item status, transaction amounts, and fees before submitting a wallet transaction. Availability of buyers and future item values are not assured.

05

Item submissions

Submitted items are subject to the prohibited-items restrictions and verification process. Creating a listing does not establish that the item is accepted or verified.

06

Campaign funding and refunds

Review whether a campaign has a deadline before contributing. Open campaigns without a deadline permit withdrawals before goal. Deadline campaigns lock contributions until the applicable reclaim conditions are met. An unmet deadline or cancellation has an onchain reclaim path. For a failed purchase after tokenization, the full raised amount must be returned to the contract before shares can redeem at the original campaign price; this does not reimburse a higher secondary-market purchase price.

07

Fees and allocations

Review the fees and share allocation displayed for each action. The documented base community-purchase fee is 7% of item cost plus extras, fixed at campaign creation, and the base marketplace fee is 0.5%. Network transaction costs are separate. Campaign allocations may include a reserved token-holder allocation; do not assume that all 1,000,000 shares go to backers.

08

Custody, fulfillment, and risk

Verification records condition and evidence; it does not guarantee a future price or immediate liquidity. Community-purchase shares can exist before physical custody. Shipping, purchase, authentication, and fulfillment can fail or take time. Final policies must specify responsibility for loss or damage, insurance, storage fees, rejected deposits, return shipping, and redemption costs before those conditions are offered to users.

09

Changes and external services

Proposed terms: external wallets, blockchain networks, carriers, and linked platforms operate under their own terms. Material changes to ItemBase’s final terms should be published with an effective date and any required notice or acceptance process. This draft does not impose retroactive changes or authorize access to a user’s funds.

10

Pending final terms

The service operator, eligibility rules, governing law, dispute process, liability terms, cancellation and fulfillment policies, and effective date still need to be supplied and approved. This page is not a final agreement and does not request acceptance.
