The submission restrictions documented for ItemBase apply to both your own items and community purchases.
Items that are not accepted
Do not submit or ship the following:
- Illegal goods, stolen property, counterfeits, and obvious intellectual-property violations.
- Weapons, controlled substances, and prescription medication.
- Hazardous materials and items that are illegal to ship.
- Live animals and perishable goods.
- Cash and bearer instruments.
A listing is not approval
Submissions may be blocked or sent for review. Appearing in the catalog is not confirmation that an item is accepted for custody or that it will pass verification.
Before shipping
Check your item’s details and follow the instructions provided in the deposit flow. Do not send a prohibited item or ship without a matching deposit.
